Kanye Readies New Album

Kanye West has dragged himself away from Kim Kardashian's massive posterior to record a new album.
Cruel Winter will follow autumns GOOD Musi cCruel Summer compilation.
The news was confirmed by West protege Big Sean -

Oh God. Swerve. Yeah, you're gonna get it," Big Sean told DJ Semtex. "I don't know about that. You gotta wait and see man, I don't know.
"It can't be Cruel Spring. It's gotta be in a timely fashion. I know I did something for it, for Cruel Winter, and I was like 'Godammit, I need to cut this for my album because it's really good'.

"But either way, that's how 'Clique' was. 'Clique' was supposed to be for my album and ended up going on Cruel Summer. I was like 'Godammit'.

"I'm still on a song with Jay-Z and Kanye, but it originally was going to be my first single for my next album. We got so many singles that it doesn't even matter."

TLC -The Movie

With girlbands comes drama and histrionics , and no female group came with more drama , or indeed , more talent than the legendary TLC. Their litany of up and downs from 1992 up to the tragic death of Lisa "Left Eye " Lopes in 2002 , would make the Sugababes look like Wilson Phillips.
So , how fitting that music station VH1 plans to translate this drama onto the silver screen for a biopic set to start shooting in January 2013.
The project is to be helmed by screenwriter Kate Lanier who oversaw the Oscar nominated Tina Turner biopic Whats Love Got To Do With It.

And she certainly wont be short of material in telling the rise , fall and rise again of Tionne "T-Boz " Watkins , Rozonda "Chili " Thomas and the late Lisa " Left Eye " Lopes.
Quite simply , TLC are the greatest girlband of all time. Platinum guzzling albums such as the iconic CrazySexyCool and FanMail spawned classics such as Waterfalls , No Scrubs , Unpretty , Creep and Diggin On You.
But at the height of their success in 1995 with CrazySexyCool and the beloved Waterfalls lauded with numerous MTV Video Music Awards , the band were declared bankrupt. T-Boz was later diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anaemia , Left Eye went into rehab after burning down her boyfriend;s house , and a contract dispute with label LaFace , saw the bands fortunes dwindle in spectacularly public fashion. They were declared bankrupt despite history making sales of CrazySexyCool.

In fighting followed the comeback success of 1999's FanMail , when Left Eye challenged Chili and T-Boz to release a 3CD set of solo albums, whereby the public would decide who was most talented. It was Left Eye who would release solo material in 2000 , the acclaimed Supernova which was met with moderate  success.
Tragedy struck on April 25th 2002 , as the girls were in the middle of recording 4th album 3D. Lisa "Left Eye " Lopes was killed in a car crash in Honduras.
TLC effectively disbanded in 2003 , but talk has been rife of a 20th anniversary tour next year.

As for the biopic , no names have cropped up to play the legendary trio as yet.

50 Cent has reunited with old mentor Eminem , and brought Maroon 5's Adam Levine along for the ride on his new single.
My Life serves as the precursor to next Spring's Street King Immortal , almost 10 years after breakthrough Shady produced smash In Da Club.

Will.I.Am and Britney Scream And Shout up ITunes

Pop's latest heavyweight hook up between Will.I Am and Britney Spears has stormed the US iTunes Chart. Scream And Shout , the follow up to the massive Eva Simmons assisted Is This Love , took the Number 3 spot after just 24 hours on sale.
The track trails Will I Am's forthcoming WillPower album. It's video will premiere later tonight on X Factor USA

Rudimental Unveil New Single

Having had one of the biggest hits of the year with summer anthem Feel The Love , Hackney's Rudimental have unveiled a free download.
Hell Could Freeze Over featuring Angel Haze premiered on Zane Lowe's Rado 1 show last night. It's the third release from their forthcoming , as yet intitled album , due for release next year.

The collective are currently riding high with current hit Not Giving In featuring John Newman and Alex Clare.

Stone Roses For Isle Of Wight

The Stone Roses triumphant comeback continues , with news they are to headline next Junes' Isle of Wight Festival.
Following a storming live comeback this year , the Madchester icons will play their only UK festival date on Friday June 14th 2013 at the legendary festival.
In addition to a one-off gig in Dubai at the Media City Amphitheatre on February 21, 2013, the band will also play two shows at Finsbury Park in London and another at Glasgow Green in June 2013. Support for the Glasgow show includes Primal Scream, Jake Bugg and The View. Support for the London shows will be announced shortly.

Tickets for next Junes' Isle of wight Festival go on sale tomorrow (November 28th )

Stupid Girl -Another Day , Another Twitter outburst

It may not have been as vulgar or vitriolic as Chris Brown's tasteless tirade , but Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson is the latest musician to vent on Twitter.
Following a performance in Koln , Germany , a miffed Manson took to the social networking site to lament the subdued reaction from that night;s crowd.
She tweeted -Koln you were so strangely subdued! Sold out show but so cold? Funny. I know you love us but why couldn't you show it? We still love you. Sx"

When cornered by a fan over her comments , she responded " Oh puhlease........BLOW ME " After another fan waded in , the fiesty Scotswoman replied "You can BLOW me too "
As it escalated Manson tweeted "YUP FUCK OFF DUDE. I'm not in the LEAST charming. Never said I was. Ha ha ha ha.....goodbye...sad you are so sensitive HA! sx

When pressed for an apology , Manson similarly tweeted " Blow Me ...you owe me an apology "

Gatbage were one of the biggest bands of the mid-90's with classics such as Stupid Girl , Only Happy When It Rains and I Think I'm Paranoid
Following a seven year absence , Garbage returned this year with Not Your Kind.

Robbie For Croker ??

Robbie Williams will hit the road next summer on a 17 date jaunt of Europe. Following the massive success of new album Take The Crown , Robbie kicks off at Manchester City's homeground the Etihad Stadium on June 19th next.
Dates in Scotland's Hampden Park and London's Wembley Stadium follow towards the end of June. With a small gap in his hectic schedule between June 19th and 30th , speculation is rife over a return date at Dublin's Croke Park.
With Slane already taken by Bon Jovi , Croke Park would be a fitting venue to cap another remarkable comeback from the Robster. And the show would be guaranteed to sell out.

Williams is certainly in a rich vein of form at the moment , having wowed London's 02 Arena at the weekend.
Support on the tour comes from none other than Olly Murs who announced the news via his Twitter earlier today. Murs famously duetted with Robbie back in 2009 on the X Factor final.

As yet , no Irish dates have been announced , but dont rule out a triumphant return to Croke Park for robbie next summer.

Your Christmas Number 1 ?

Liverpool may not be atop the Premiership this coming Yuletide , but you can be certain a Scouser will be topping the charts this Christmas. And we dont mean permatanned cheese monger Christopher Maloney.

A heavyweight mix of stars have come together under the banner , The Justice Collective to record The Hollies poignant classic He Aint Heavy , He's My Brother. All proceeds raised will go towards the Hillsborough Families legal costs in their ongoing quest for the 96 who perished in April 1989 at Hillsborough.

Sir Paul McCartney leads the stars alongside Robbie Williams , Beverley Knight , Paloma Faith and Eliza Doolittle.
Alongside them are a raft of Liverpudlian talent such as Rebecca Ferguson , Holly Johnson of  Frankie Goes To Hollywood , Spice Girl Melanie C , Lawson's Andy Brown , Paul Heaton formerly of Beautiful South.
Add to that John Power of Cast and The La,s , Dave McCabe of The Zutons , legendary Mick Jones of The Clash , Squeeze's Glen Tillbrook , Peter Hooton of The Farm and the great Jon McClure of Reverend And The Makes,
Fittingly , the line up is completed by Scouse legend Gerry Marsden of Gerry & The Pacemakers.

With the X Factor in decline , The Justice Collective are a sure thing for the Christmas top spot , when the final chart is announced on December 23rd.

2013 - The Year Of Mutya , Keisha , Siobhan

It's incredible to think that 13 years after they served as the original and best incarnation of the Sugababes. That Mutya Buena , Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy would ever set foot in a studio together again , let alone for it to be the most anticipated pop event of next year.
The Originals , now known simply as Mutya , Keisha , Siobhan have claimed the new album is better than 2000 gem One Touch.

The girls have reportedly been in the studio with Professor Green , Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy. As well as original producer Cameron McVey. That's a pretty stellar line up , and I am positively salivating at the prospect of this new album.
No release date has yet been announced but I'm confident this second coming of this uniquely talented , battle worn trio will be a triumph.
" Eclectic " and "special " were just two adjectives  the girls have used to describe the upcoming opus.

MKS will surely slay all before them in 2013. And I , for one , cant wait.

Chris Brown Lets Rip.....AGAIN

If there was any doubt that Chris Brown was nothing short of scum , his latest Twitter tirade should settle the debate.
The charm school graduate and woman beater was embroiled in a disturbing war of words with  US comedienne Jenny Johnson.
it began after Brown posted a photo with the comment: "I look old as f**k! I'm only 23..." to which Johnson replied saying, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s**t can really age a person."

Brown responded to her tweet, saying: "Take them teeth out when u Sucking my d**k HOE (sic)." Johnson replied: "It's 'HO' not 'HOE' you ignorant f**k."

The argument continued to escalate into vulgarity, with Brown tweeting: "I should fart while ur giving me top."

She replied: "Your mum must be so proud of you," to which Brown said, "Mum says hello... She told me not to shart in ur mouth, wanted me to s**t right on the retina."

Johnson then joked, "YOU FLIRT!!!", before telling her followers: "Okay. I'm done. All I got from that exchange with Chris Brown is that he wants to s**t and fart on me."

She added, "I have zero respect for a person who seems unapologetic for the terrible crime he committed and shows no signs of changing."
Later, Brown wrote: "ust ask Rihanna if she mad??????" Johnson retweeted the comment, adding: "Get some help. Seriously."

Brown later deleted his Twitter account , whilst Rihanna later tweeted a photo of the timeline of comments adding "How does one find the time ? We gotta  do better than this "

Not sure whether RiRi was defending Brown but given their recent reconciliation , it would appear so.

Brown has been involved in feuds with hip hop star Drake and WWE wrestler CM Punk already this year. The former resulting in a nightclub brawl in which Brown suffered a mere cut to his chin.

Its clear Brown still has anger issues. And what a comment to make regarding Rihanna. Arrogant , bullish , misogynistic , how this guys career has enjoyed such a revival is beyond me.

And worryingly , the worst is probably yet to come

That Rihanna Reign

The Bajan icon has shot straight to the top of the UK album charts for the third consecutive time tonight with her seventh album Unapologetic. It comes on the same day as her annual X Factor results show performance.
Despite mixed reviews ,  Unapologetic also looks set to land her that elusive US Number 1 album. A feat she has yet to achieve, despite her recent record breaking antics.

Over on the singles chart , 4 unreleased tracks land insid ethe Top 100 ,  Right Now at 36 , Chris Brown duet Nobody's Business at 63 , , Half of Me at 75 and Eminem collab Numb at 92,

Olly Murs Denies Girls Aloud Top Spot

Despite the hype and fanfare that greeted their much anticipated reunion , Girls Aloud have missed out on a 5th chart topper to cement their comeback.
Instead , the honours go to X Factor alumni Olly Murs , whom alongside the ubiquitous Flo Rida , takes the top spot.
Troublemaker becomes Murs 4th Number 1 , following in the footsteps of Please Dont Let Me Go in 2010 and last years Heart Skips A Beat and Dance With Me Tonight. The track trails Murs new album Right Place , Right Time.

For Girls Aloud , Something New , incredibly becomes their 15th Top 5 single since December 2002 and overall their 21st Top 10 smash. Expect next months , Beautiful Cause You Love Me to become Top 10 number 22.

Pink stole the show last Sunday night at the AMAS with a stunning performance of this emotive cut from current album The Truth About Love. One of the best vocals of her decade long career compliment lyrics of hope and heartbreak. The hallmarks of any great Pink ballad. The video , seen below , is one of the years most striking.

This track seems to be everywhere right now. And rightfully so. The New Jersey folk collective have hit it big with this charming song.And after seven years together , it certainly has'nt come overnight.

One of four new songs on the career spanning Ten compilation. This is vintage Xenomania, cute , catchy and quintessentially Girls Aloud. If they're going out , then they're certainly going out with a bang,

Dido Go The Hump

Strange bedfellows can sometimes make for the most thrilling collaborations.But who would have put Noughties dinner party staple Dido and cheeky chappy hip-pop duo Rizzle Kicks together.
Dido , last heard from with 2009 album Life On Earth , was one of the biggest selling artists of the past decade. Albums such as No Angel and Life For Rent sold in excess of 35 million copies.

Her fourth effort Girl Who Got Away , is pencilled in by Sony for a March 2013 release. The British singer teamed up with Harley and Jordan for an unnamed track after hearing an early demo of their debut smash Down With The Trumpets.

Rizzle Kicks have had a pretty awesome year thusfar. Mama Do The Hump has become one of the tracks of the year , as well as propelling accompanying album Stereo Typical towards Platinum status.
