JoJo returns in When Love Hurts video

 



JoJo has finally premiered the video for comeback single When Love Hurts. The former teen star , released the first 'tringle ' , a trio of new songs last month , that also included Say Love and Save My Soul.

The 24 year old singers career appears to be firmly back on track following years of legal battles. She was finally released from her former label Blackground in 2013 and signed with Atlantic Records last year.
She has been working on her third studio album , with a string of big names including Pharrell Williams and Sam Smith.


The star shot to fame in 2004 as a 13 year old when the infectious Leave ( Get Out ) made her the youngest artist in history to top the US Billboard Hot 100

Years and Years premiere Eyes Shut video




Years And Years have premiered the video for their latest single. The gorgeous Eyes Shut , serves as the sixth single taken from debut album Communion. The Brit trio will be hoping for a hat rick of  UK Top 3 singles when its released next month.

The apocalyptic video follows the summer smash Shine and the huge Number 1 aingle King. Years and Years are nominated for Best New Act at next months Q Awards as well as being shortlisted for two MTV Europe Music Awards in November.

New Adele album due for November




Adele looks set to finally release her long awaited third album on November 20th. The Oscar winning London singer , will release a lead single in early November.
As het , no official tracklisting has been revealed with the album long rumoured to be entitled 25. Adele has worked with Danger Mouse and long time collaborator Paul Epworth on the new album.

The album comes four years after the phenomenal success of her second album 21 in 2011. The album has sold 30 million copies worldwide and a string of Grammy Awards. It spawned two consecutive US Number 1 its in Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You.


Its thought Adele already has a host of TV appearances lined up in the USA ,  including her own TV special.
The album is expected to be the fastest selling album of the year and in the US , it could break Britney Spears 15 year record for fastest selling album by a female solo artist.

The Weeknd knocks himself off US top spot

 
 


The Weeknd continues to have the biggest year of his career to date. The Canadian R&B star has become the first male solo artist to knock himself off the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in over seven years.

The Hills rose to the summit to knock the massive Cant Feel My Face from the top. The last artist to achieve this was Taylor Swift last year when Blank Space displaced Shake It Off.

The Weeknd has had a meteoric rise from cult singer to bona fide global superstar this year with the mammoth success of current album Beauty Behind The Madness.

Ellie in Delirium on new album



Ellie Goulding has revealed the details about her new album. Delirium , is set for release on November 6th , some three years after her last album Halcyon in 2012.
The album is preceded by brand new single On My Mind , which premiered in its entirety today and is now available to download.

Delirium has contributions from songwriting and production  royalty such as Max Martin , Greg Kurstin and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.
The 22 track album includes her mammoth Fifty Shades Of Grey smash Love Me Like You Do and Calvin Harris collaboration Outside , which was a Top 10 hit in late 2014.

Taylor Swift set for more glory at MTV Europe Awards





Taylor Swift is expected to revel in more awards glory after the nominations for this years ceremony were announced.
Swift breaks an all time record with a whopping 9 nominations. The singer sees nods for Best  Female , Best Song and Best Pop amongst them.

The ceremony takes place on October 25th , live on MTV from Milan. The city last hosted the show in 1998 when Madonna took to the stage. No host or acts have been confirmed yet  , but voting for the winners is now open.

Ellie Gioulding to release new single this week



Ellie Goulding is set to release her new single On My Mind this weekend. It provides the first taster of the British star's forthcoming third album.
The track is produced by the legendary Max Martin , who helmed Love Me Like You Do , which gave Goulding the biggest hit of her career this past Spring.


As yet no further details have emerged about Goulding's third album , which is expected later this year. It follows the huge success of 2012's Halcyon and its 2013 re-issue Halycon Days , which spawned the huge Number 1 track Burn

James Morrison battles Demons on comeback track



James Morrison has premiered his first new single in over 4 years with the empowering Demons. It trails his forthcoming fourth studio album , Higher Than Here , set for release October 30th. The accompanying video for the rousing track , sees Morrison surrounded by various people surrounded by the physical embodiments of their personal demons. It's a thought provoking and striking video , which already elevate the uplifting track.


Morrison burst onto the scene in the summer of 2006 , scoring huge success with debut single You Give Me Something and its parent album Undiscovered.

.His second album Songs For You , Truths For Me , followed in 2008 , producing the biggest hit of his career with Broken Strings.

The duet with Canadian superstar Nelly Furtado , was a huge smash , peaking at Number 2 in the UK.
His last album The Awakening gave him his second UK Number 1 album in 2011, led by the gorgeous I Wont Let You Go.


To date the Warwickshire born singer -songwriter has scored 9 UK Top 40 hits , 2 UK Number 1 albums and a BRIT Award.

Little Mix ready new single




Little Mix have announced details of new single Love Me Like You. The girls will release the follow up to massive summer smash Black Magic on September 25th , with the song available to pre-order from September 11th.


Its the third track to be released from November's Get Weird , following Black Magic and Hair. Its the 2011 X Factor winner's third album.
Black Magic recently spent three weeks at Number 1 in the UK , whilst the girls have performed the track alongside Taylor Swift on her 1989 World Tour.

Janet Jackson announces Unbreakable album



Janet Jackson has revealed full details about her forthcoming eleventh studio album Unbreakable Her first album in seven years is due for release on October 2nd. It follows 2008's Discipline.
Once again Janet has teamed up with long time collaborators Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. The album features appearances from J Cole and Missy Elliott , who appeared on 2001's All For You album.

Janet has already premiered the lead single for the new album with No Sleeep , earlier this summer.
