Troye Sivan premieres Youth video

Australian pop sensation Troye Sivan has debuted the video for the glorious track Youth, Its the latest single to be lifted from critically acclaimed debut album Blue Neighbourhood

The video sees the young Aussie floating his way through a house party and follows the success of previous hits Wild and Fools.

BRITS 2016 - Adele reigns with 4 awards

Adele came , saw and conquered the BRIT Awards 2016 , in Londons  O2 Arena. The star took home a haul of 4 gongs , the most in a single awards ceremony by a solo singer. She also equalled Blurs 20 year long record for most wins in a single night.

She comfortably picked up Best British Female , Best British Single for Hello and the prestigious British Album of the Year for the record breaking 25. Its the second time shes won all three of those awards.
Her fouth gong was for Global Success. During her first acceptance speech , the singer publicly offered her support to Kesha in her ongoing dispute with Sony Music and producer Doctor Luke.

Adele rounded off the evening closing the show with a note perfect rendition of When We Were Young.

Coldplay opened the show with latest single Hymn For The Weekend before scooping Best British Band for a record fouth time.

Catfish and the Bottlemen sprung a surprise by beating out James Bay and Years and Years to win Best British Breakthrough,
James Bay though would enjoy a successful night winning Best British Male and accompanying Justin Beber on guitar during his performance of Love Yourself.


Bieber won his second Brit last night for Best International Male , beating out fellow Canadians The Weeknd and Drake,
All three performed on the night , with Bieber performing a well received mash up of Love Yourself and Sorry.


The Weeknd took to the stage to perform The Hills whilst Drake joined Rihanna for a performance of her 14th US Number 1 , Work.

Elsewhere , other winners on the night included Bjork for best International Female. Whilst Australian band Tame Impala won Best International Band.

One Direction predictably wo the fan voted Britsh Artist Video , beating out Little Mix.

Little Mix , though would wow with a high octane perfromanc eof Number 1 smash Black Magic , that proved one of the highlights of the night.

There was a sombre pause in proceedings though as Annie Lennox and actor Gary Oldman would pay tribute to the late David Bowie. The legendary star was honoured with a posthumous BRITS Icon Award.

His backing band played  medley of the stars hits before being joined by New Zealand singer Lorde who performed  a haunting take on Life OnMars, Bowie had endorsed the young "Royals " singer as the future of rock music

Louisa Johnson scores hat rick at Maloneys

 Louisa Johnson was the big winner at the 2016 Maloneys which celebrate the very worst in British music.
The X Factor flop scooped 3 gongs for Worst British Female , ALDI Worst Britush Single and Worst British Video.

It was a night of shame and denigration for X Factor alumni all round. Ben Haenow , , fresh from being dropped by Syco picke dup the prestigious Tesco Clubcard Worst British Album and Worst British Male.

Taylor Swift donates a quarter of a million to Kesha

Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 to Kesha following her failed lawsuit. A spokesperson for Taylor confirmed the news, stating that the star has given Kesha a quarter of a million dollars to "help with any of her financial needs during this trying time".

On Friday, a New York judge denied Kesha a court injunction that would have allowed her to record music outside her record label. The 28-year-old star has been unable to make any new music for two years now because she refuses to work with her producer, Dr Luke, who she claims sexually assaulted her.

Kesha filed a lawsuit against Dr Luke in October 2014, saying that he has been abusive towards her since she signed with him at the age of 18. He has denied the allegations.

New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich sided with Dr. Luke and Sony at Kesha's hearing, telling the singer's legal team, "You're asking the court to decimate a contract that was heavily negotiated and typical for the industry."
Mark Geragos, Kesha's lawyer, argued in favour of an injunction because the career of a pop star is often brief, and Kesha's career could be "irreparably harmed" if she did not return to recording music.

"There has been no showing of irreparable harm. She's being given opportunity to record," Judge Kornreich said in denying the injunction.
The singer broke down in tears as the ruling was announced, and the hashtag #FreeKesha quickly started trending on Twitter.

A number of stars have spoken out to show their support for Kesha, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Miley Cyrus and Lorde. On Sunday, Demi Lovato posted a series of tweets, in which she described the singer as "brave".
"I'm ready for women to be taken just as seriously as men," Demi wrote. "Someone tell me why anyone would ever feel brave enough to come forward it they are most likely to be ignored or called a liar? I'm also ready for self-proclaimed feminists to start speaking out or taking action for women's rights."

Rihanna and Drake get cosy in Work video

Rihanna has unveiled the video for current single Work. The lead video from her current album ANTI , sees her reunited with Canadian superstar Drake. They previously worked together on the smash hits Whats My Name and Take Care.

The video comes in two parts ,the first see RiRi bumo n grind around a Carribean restaurant. She fully embraces the dancehall sound of the track whilst steamily grinding against Drake.

The second half of the video sees the two dancing alone in a private room lit in purple and pink. ANTI went straight to the top of the US charts upon its surprise release earlier this month. The star was forced to pull out of the Grammy Awards last week citing laryngitis,

The star will shortly embark on worldwide stadium tour. She will headline the 25th anniversary of the V Festival this August

Gwen Stefani has announced details of her first solo album in over a decade. This Is How The Truth Feels Like is set for release on March 18th. It comes ten years after Stefani's last solo album , The Sweet Escape.
The album features the single Used To Love You. Stefani first found solo success in 2004 with the phenomenal success of debut album LoveAngelMusicBaby and its massive singles What You Waiting For and Hollaback Girl.

Just mere seconds after wrapping her triumphant SuperBowl performance last night , Beyoncé has announced details of the FormationWorld Tour,
Kicking off in Miami on April 27th , the 37 date stadium tour will be in support of her forthcoming sixth album.
