Noel Gallagher returns with Chasing Yesterday



Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds have announced details of his second album. Chasing Yesterday is set for release on March 2nd 2015. It follows 2011's self titled Number 1 album which spawned the hits The Death Of You And Me and AKA What A Life.

In The Heat Of The Moment , premiered today, will serve as the album's lead single. Galagher disclosed full details of the hotly anticipated new album during a Facebook Q&A in London earlier today.
The album which was produced by Gallagher will include a track with Johnny Marr which closes the album.
Another track , Lock all Doors , has taken 23 years to complete having originally materialised during the making of the legendary Definitely Maybe.


Gallagher also revealed that he is keen to headline Glastonbury next summer if asked. A short UK and Irish tour will take  place the week of the album release in March 2015. Kicking off in Belfast on March 3rd , before moving onto Dublin (4th ) , Nottingham (6th ) , Glasgow (7th ), Manchester (9th ) and finishing in London's 02 Arena on the 10th.
