Rihanna has finally revealed the title for her long awaited eighth album. At a gallery in Los Angeles last night , Rihanna unveiled the album's artwork and its title Anti.
The cover was designed by Israeli artist Roy Nechum.
The cover features an image of a young Rihanna holding a black balloon, with a gold crown covering her eyes. Over the red-and-white canvas cover, a poem written by Chloe Mitchell is written in Braille. The Braille and sight-obscuring crown follows the theme of all the album art so far, which Nachum is making as a statement on vision and vision impairment. As yet there is still no official release date for the album , or an official track listing. This is the longest gap between albums for Rihanna. Her last album Unapologetic was released in 2012. The Bajan star has released seven of her albums continuously from year to year from 2005's Music Of The Sun through to 2012's Unapologetic.
The star has released three singles this year to a mixed response. FourFiveSeconds with Kanye West and Paul McCartney was a worldwide smash. However American Oxygen and Bitch Better Have My Money both stalled.
