Emeli Sande will release her first new material in over four years later this month with Hurts. The lead single from her long awaited sophomore album will be released on September 16th. The singer has posted a short snippet of the video on her website and Twitter account.
Sande had the biggest selling album of 2012 with the million selling Our Version Of Events. Throughout that year Sande was ubiquitous , featuring at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the London Olympics.
The album spawned the hit singles Read All About It Part 2 , Heaven , Next To Me , My Kind Of Love and Clown. She claimed two Number 1 singles alongside Professor Green and Labrinth respectively with the tracks Read All About It ands Beneath Your Beautiful. The album also saw her score two BRIT Awards.
