Avril Lavigne is poised to release the first single from her upcoming fifth album. Heres To Never Growing Up , premiered in 14 second clip on Lavigne's Twitter page.
The Canadian singer , who recently got engaged to Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger sounds to be in familiar territory. However the full premiere of the song is yet to come.
Lavigne's last album Goodbye Lullaby was released in 2011 and underwhelmed commercially. However the album itself was quite underrated. But failed to spawn the usual hit singles. More mellow and mature than previous efforts , the album sold moderately.
Lavigne has already said her new album will mark a return to her more poppy roots , and will be more upbeat and fun. Her fiancee Chad Kroeger and former Evanescence member David Hodges have worked on the album.
Since her debut album Let Go , in 2002 , Avril Lavigne has sold over 34 million records
