After almost five years , 13 singles , are Frankie , Mollie , Una ,Rochelle and Vanessa finally about to land their maiden Number 1 single.
The Saturdays 14th single What About Us , featuring Sean Paul has stormed to the top of the iTunes chart upon its release yesterday.
The Saturdays certainly wont be counting any chickens just yet. Its not the first time the girls have taken an early chart lead , only to be denied on the crucial Sunday.
Flo Rida has twice scuppered them to the top spot when Just Cant Get Enough and Missing You were ahead midweek.
Their last sizeable hit was 2011's pulsating All Fired Up , which eventually lost out to Pixie Lott.
The girls , currently starring in E! reality show Chasing The Saturdays , have made no secret of their long held desire to have that elusive Number 1 single.
Whilst What About Us is no Higher or Ego , it would be nice to see the girls finally land the top spot. Most people wrote this song off on first listen. Could The Saturdays finally have the last laugh ?
