The legendary Isle of Wight Festival will play host to comeback heroes Fleetwoof Mac next June. The festival which takes place on June 11th -14th at Seaclose Park , Newport/
Despite rumours of a much touted headline slot at Glastonbury , the Mac will instead rock the iconic festival in one of the early coups of next years festival season.
The headline appearance by the rock giants is set to send ticket sales soaring , when they go onsale on December 5th.
Joining them as headliners are US rock kings The Blavk Keys and 90's stalwarts The Prodigy. The Black Keys released one of the standout albums of 2014 with Turn Blue and co-headline the Friday night.
The Prodigy , who'll be celebrating 24 years since the release of debut single Charly , have promised to play new material from their forthcoming seventh album.
With more acts yet to be announced , the Isle of Wight Festival already has a huge headstart to rival a packed festival scene next summer
