Gwen Stefani has finally showcased her first solo material in over 8 years with new track Baby Don't Lie.
The sprightly new track is thought to be the lead single from the No Doubt frontwoman's forthcoming third studio album. The new album is rumoured for release in December and is produced by Benny Blanco (Katy Perry , Britney Spears , Maroon 5 )
Pharrell Williams and Charli XCX are set to feature on the new album.
Stefani's last solo album came in 2006 with the subpar The Sweet Escape. Released to amixed critical and commercial response , it was only the album's title track with Akon that provided a genuine smash.
This year mark's ten years since Stefani's debut solo album Love , Angel , Music , Baby. That album sold 7 million copies worldwide and a slew of huge singles such as What Are You Waiting For , Rich Girl , Cool and Hollaback Girl.
