Scottish pop veterans Texas have announced details of their forthcoming new album entitled The Conversation.
It is Sharleen Spiteri and company;s first album in 8 years , the follow up to 2005's Red Book. In the intervening years Spiteri has gone on to release two solo albums with mixed success.
The Conversation is set for release on May 20th. The tirle track will serve as the set's lead single a week earlier on May 13th.
This year marks Texas' 25th anniversary. Their first hit , I Dont Want A Lover , reached Number 8 in 1989. Since then , they've sold over 30 million albums worldwide , and sold out countless tours,
They enjoyed a massive career renaissance in the late 90's with huge albums , 1997's classic White On Blonde and its 1999 predecessor The Hush. They enjoyed huge success w.ith pop anthems Say What You Want , Halo , Black Eyed Boy , In Demand and Summer Son.
