Calvin Makes Chart History


Scottish dance maestro Calvin Harris has become quite the go to hitmaker in the past few years. And last night he made UK chart history , by scoring his SEVENTH UK Top 10 hit from one single album.
The album in question 18 Months ,released last October , sits currently at Number 2 on the Albums Chart.

It was his latest blockbuster collaboration Drinking From The Bottle , featuring Tinie Tempah , which jumped to a new peak of Number 5 on the singles chart.
The incredible run began in June 2011 with Kelis assisted Bounce hitting Number 2 , then two months later in August , the Grammy nominated Feels So Close also hitting Number 2.
In October , the massive We Found Love , led by Rihanna spent 6 weeks at Number 1.

In April 2012 , Let's Go featuring R&B heavyweight Ne Yo hit Number 2 as did his hook up with fellow Brit , Example on July's We'll Be Coming Back.
Another Number 1 came in October 2012 , with the Florence Welch epicness of Sweet Nothing. The pair had already topped the charts during the Olympics with a Harris remix of Spectrum ,which doesnt feature on 18 Months.


It marks another huge milestone in the Dumfries stars six year career. This week Calvin Harris was nominated for Best British Male at next months Brit Awards.
