Lady Gaga is et to give us the first taste of her forthcoming fifth album with brand new single Perfect Illusion
The lead single will premiere in September , with her fifth album set to follow. As yet no confirmation date for her new album has been released. The singer has been collaborating with the likes of Mark Ronson and Niles Rodgers on the follow up to 2013's much maligned ARTPOP.
Ronson , who famously produced Amy Winehouse's seminal Back To Black a decade ago , has been raving about the new material. He's described it as some of the best music hes ever heard from some of his favourite musicians.
Gaga will be hoping to recapture her pop mantle after the underwhelming success of 2013's overcooked ARTPOP. Meanwhle , Gaga will return to screens in season six of American Horror Story on September 20th. She scooped a Goldne Globe earlier this year for her role as The Countess in season five's Hotel saga.
She will also star in a remake of A Star Is Born , directed by Bradley Cooper. But for now , all ears will be on Perfect Illusion. Has Gaga recaptured the form that produced some of the early decades greatest pop moments ? We'll find out in two weeks.
